DelmarvaNow.com reported on ceremonies to celebrate funding for a new health center in Onley for Eastern Shore Rural Health System.

The new 20,000-square- foot facility, due for completion next summer, will be twice the size of the current building and will house 10 clinicians and support staff. [Eastern Shore Rural Health System Chief Executive Officer Nancy] Stern said the larger facility is needed to help meet increased demand for affordable medical and dental services and will decrease waiting times for patients.
