Links That Get Us Thinking Part Two

Surely it’s probably only a matter of time before the NACHC Washington Update makes the cut and becomes the go to place to read about cool stuff going on in health care. We have a few things going for us: we’re never dull, we don’t take ourselves too seriously in the oh-so-serious world of health care policy. Best of all, health centers are worth learning about because they are a proven model, not just smoke and mirrors. So while we’re waiting for someone to notice us, here are some cool health care links for you to notice. Health Wonk Review bills itself as a biweekly “compendium of the best health policy blogs” and that it is. It’s basically one stop shopping for blogs and browsing through is like walking into the middle of a conversation. Here you can also read Managed Care Matters, a weblog by Joe Paduda (anyone with “dude” in the middle of his name can’t be all that bad) that covers a host of issues, such as health care cost containment, health policy, health research, and medical news for insurers, employers, and healthcare. There’s also The Health Care Blog by Matthew Holt– where you can graze on interesting tidbits, such as a raging debate on Google’s effectiveness as a tool for people looking for accurate health care information. Who knew? Maybe we should change our name to the “heatlh center blog” and folks would be googling us left and right.
