As we mentioned earlier, in July CMS released its proposed rules on the Establishment of Exchanges and Qualified Health Plans.  As you can imagine, these rules are very important to health centers.  It is very important for CMS to hear from health centers!  NACHC is preparing comments for submission before the September 28, 2011 deadline and is encouraging PCAs and health centers to do the same.

We have prepared an issue brief which summarizes the key components for health centers of the proposed rule.   Please take a moment to review the issue brief and proposed rules and consider submitting your own comments.   You can submit online at www.regulations.gov by September 28, 2011.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like more information on NACHC’s comments.
