With the new stimulus funding for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) coming on line, applications have been flooding into HRSA, yet 8 of every 9 applications aren’t complete and therefore won’t be funded.  We have already heard that nearly 1,000 incomplete applications are from health center sites!!!  If you are an applicant, or are working with a candidate to apply for loan repayment assistance, you can check on that application TODAY and fill in the missing information for this funding cycle which ends August 26.  The next funding cycle won’t be until November, so check today by calling 1-800-221-9393 or e:mail either nhsclrp@hrsa.gov or CallCenter@hrsa.gov.
