The hills are alive with music and affordable health care in Colorado Springs, CO, where Peak Vista Community Health Centers hosted an Open House for the neighborhood surrounding its newest Family Health Center. The new health center site will expand services to more patients at a time when demand for affordable health care services continues to climb. The 34,000 plus square foot newly renovated facility has 48 exam rooms, which can support up to 16 physicians at capacity. The new location will also offer one stop shopping under one roof for services such pharmacy, laboratory, registration, health education and an additional Well Child Waiting Area. Best of all, it’s located a bus line, so patients can easily travel there. “The highly visible location of this new site is ideal for easy patient access. The additional space will allow Peak Vista to expand its services to more people in the Pikes Peak Region who face access barriers…including the uninsured,” according to BJ Scott, President and CEO of Peak Vista. “We are pleased that we have the ability to expand exceptional healthcare to working families within our community.”
