New Resources on Exchanges

By: Susan Sumrell

Last week the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO), the agency responsible for the creation and overseeing the Exchanges, released two important documents on the establishment of the Exchanges. These documents, which include a Draft Blueprint for Approval of Affordable State-based and State Partnership Insurance Exchanges and General Guidance on Federally-facilitated Exchanges, are resources for states as they work to establish an Exchange, or work with the Federally-facilitated exchange.

Additionally, NACHC has created an Exchange “toolkit” – a resource for all things Exchange as they relate to health centers, including draft state legislation, relevant regulations and NACHC’s comments, and other interesting resources. Be sure to bookmark this page now and check back as we’ll be updating it as new information becomes available.
