New Information on 340B
We have several new important tidbits on the 340B Program that we wanted to make you all aware of. Check them out below.
Online Covered Entity Request Forms
Last week HRSA’s Office of Pharmacy Affairs announced that it will now be accepting covered entity requests online. This form can be used to submit updated names, addresses, and contact information, as well as Medicaid billing details. Please note that paper requests for those that can be made online will no longer be accepted. The paper change request forms will still be required for entity termination request, changes to Authorizing officials and changes to contract pharmacy relationships or manufacturer information. For more information check out the OPA website.
More information on 340B Recertification
According to a recent OPA webinar on 340B, health center recertifications for the 340B program will begin January 2013. Health centers will begin receiving information from OPA on this recertification in November and again in December. As we mentioned earlier, it is absolutely critical that health centers review their information in the OPA database, as that is the contact information that OPA will be using to alert health centers about the recertifications. For more information, check out the OPA website.
OPA Webinar on New 340B Registration Dates
