Lots of health center news popped up over the holidays. Let’s get right to it:
- In an interview with the Washington Post‘s Ezra Klein, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said that a funding boost for health centers in the Senate reform bill will spark a “revolution in primary care.”
- The Courier-Journal in Louisville was one of many outlets to note that general-public H1N1 vaccination is taking place at health centers now.
- The Contra Costa Times profiled Dr. Daisy Eng, a National Health Service Corps physician at Open Door’s Eureka Community Health Center.
- The Kokomo Perspective in Indiana ran a letter by Indiana Health Centers, Inc. CEO Lynn Clothier underscoring the value of health centers.
