Helping the Homeless in Nashville

United Health Services in Nashville, TN is getting much deserved notice from The Tennessean for cobbling together money to provide medical, dental and behavioral health care to the city’s homeless in a network of walk-in clinics across the city. The health center expects to serve more than 5,000 homeless people a year. “This makes it possible for (homeless) people to get more comprehensive primary care without having to go great distances,” said Mary Bufwack, CEO, told the newspaper.  You can read the full article here.
